Ball Valves
A pivoting ball allows these valves to offer an open/ bubble-tight close function by a quarter turn motion. These valves are available in full or reduced bore and various end connections making them a versatile choice.

Air Valves / Air Vents
These valves are installed at the top of the line and are used to remove air from the system

Butterfly Valves
Using a rotating disc, these valves are used as shut off and regulating valves with a low leakage rate. These valves are light and compact and save space in the line. Available in a variety of materials, these are versatile valves widely used in different industries.

Gate / Knife Gate Valves
These isolation valves use a ‘gate’ as the closing element. When open, the valves are full bore and offer very little head loss, making them a popular choice. However, they are not suitable for modulating. Knife gate valves use a sharp blade that is either open or closed. This allows them to be used effectively with, not only liquids but slurry, sewerage, pulp, powders, granules and more.

Diaphragm / Pinch Valves
Diaphragm valves (invented in South Africa) are available in weir or straight through patterns. The use of a flexible diaphragm as their closing element, prevents leakages. These valves are also easy to maintain without much disturbance to the line. Pinch valves work similarly and use a flexible rubber as the closing mechanism by pinching down on it. These are extensively used with mediums that contain suspended soilds.

Globe Valves
These screw-down valves offer open/close and throttling functions by using a linear function. These are used extensively in (but not limited to) the steam industry.
Non-Return Valves
These are essential ‘check’ valves are used to ensure that the medium flows in one direction by preventing backflow using a variety of mechanisms recommended for different applications.
Strainers
Used as a preventative/protection measure, these instruments separate fluids from solids in the line.
Flexibles / Bellows
These effective valves/hoses are used to absorb vibrations in the line and protect equipment.
Solenoid Valves / Actuators
Actuators, used in place of manual operation, are used to operate valves more quickly or assist in remote locations. They can either be on/off or modulating and they are either operated pneumatically or electrically. Solenoids valves are used to open or close automatically when the power is cut.
Pressure Regulating / Reducing / Control Valves
These valves are used to control pressure in the line without the aid of external power.
Water Meters
These are used to measure the amount of water/liquid flowing through a line.
Foot Valves
Usually used at the bottom of dams/tanks/vessels, these valves work similarly to non-return valves by preventing backflow. They have built in strainers to prevent dirt from getting into the vessel.
Steam traps / Separators
Steam traps are designed to remove the condensate from a steam line to ensure the efficiency of your process. Steam separators are generally installed on the main line to eliminate condensate. These work alongside steam trap stations.
Sight Glasses
Sight glasses allow you to see what is passing through a line. They are also used to gauge the level in tanks/boilers.
Relief / Safety Valves
Safety and relief valves are used to protect lines or equipment from excessive pressure. They are used to blow off at their set pressure (which is customised to suit your needs). These valves are either direct acting or pilot operated.
Boiler Blowdown Valves
Essential to keeping your boiler in good condition, blowdown valves remove unwanted water.
Pressure Gauges & Thermometers
Monitoring temperature and pressure are essential in certain lines. We make this easy with our extensive range of monitoring equipment. We can also customise these items to suit your needs.
Other Valves
We offer an extensive range of valves. These are other valves that we supply to customers, however, if you do not see what you require, please do not hesitate to contact us.
